  • October 17, 2022: Congratulations to Zhuocheng, Seong, and Ben for their paper, "A Multi-feature Fusion Network Model for Bearings Condition Assessment in Accelerated Aging Experiments" was accepted for publication in Neural Computing and Applications. This paper features a collaboration with Army Research Laboratory on non-destructive health monitoring.

  • January 17, 2022: As a PI, Dr. Wang in collaboration with electric engineering professors David Matolak and Bin Zhang, computer science and engineering professor Yan Tong, and Integer Technologies was awarded a project of $4.75 M by the Office of Naval Research (ONR) to develop reliable perception for unmanned maritime systems. This is the largest contract iMSEL has received to develop computer vision and AI-enabled sensor systems. Read more ...

  • May 1, 2019: One proposal submitted by our post-doc research fellow, Dr. Seong H. Hong to USC's ASPIRE-I: Innovation Program was selected for award. The project entitled "Embedded Machine Learning Platform for Automated Fault Detection and Mitigation in Dynamic Systems" aims to further mature our embedded machine learning platform for field-deployable applications. Congratulations to Seong.
     

  • April 30, 2019: Our proposal with Prof. Austin Downey at our ME department submitted to USC's ASPIRE-I: Innovation Program was selected for award. The project entitled "Real-Time Surrogate Model Updating for Structures Experiencing High-Rate Dynamics" aims to develop real-time state inference technologies for high-rate dynamic systems.
